I'm now using Webpage Screenshot (because Screen Capture by Google crashes).T's Beeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08662694541096462809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-616013937654250670.post-87177164932248730742013-02-05T18:46:18.011-08:002013-02-05T18:46:18.011-08:00As an update to these instructions, you should kno...As an update to these instructions, you should know that the Screengrab extension for Mozilla Firefox has not been updated in years and is no longer compatible with current versions of Firefox.

I have gotten good results now using Google's Chrome browser http://chrome.google.com with the Screen Capture (by Google)extension available in the Chrome store.

So basically the instructions are still valid if you use Chrome with this extension.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04575375361488174715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-616013937654250670.post-89630483364266828372011-06-05T18:27:53.039-07:002011-06-05T18:27:53.039-07:00Thanks so much for posting this great information!...Thanks so much for posting this great information! I volunteer with a Ham Radio group and was asked to print some large format maps for a bike race we are helping with. I have access to a large HP DesignJet with great printing capabilities, but you have to feed it high resolution data to get the nice detailed output.

I couldn't figure out how to get Google Maps to print out a high enough quality map, but I followed your instructions and it worked beautifully!

I even needed to use the "View in Google Earth Link" trick to get things to work well on my largest map that was 6000 x 2500.

Don't know how long it took you to figure this out, but I'm glad you posted your fix.

Thanks again,

JulianJuliannoreply@blogger.com
