Watched the start of the Sydney-Hobart sailing race today. Reminded me of this (taken in Wellington, New Zealand a few years ago. I was focused on the two women's quads, when a men's four cruised by at seemingly full pressure.

Aside: while we were in Wellington, my wife asked me to see if a) there was a masters row at one of the clubs, and b) she could join them. I obtained two positive answers and the next morning my wife enjoyed a fine row and met up with an old college friend from over three decades ago. They may be rowing CPR (Corvallis to Portland) together.
